Hand Building With Clay 2024

Suitable for beginners. In this three hour workshop you will be able to make 2 - 5 items (depending on size).  As you can see from the images shown of some of our previous participants - you are free to make your own unique items! Classes are small, usually 6-8 people. Fees include all materials, plus two firings.  Three types of clay are available to use -  white clay, speckled clay,  and black clay. If you choose you can also apply colour to the white clays and specked clays with underglaze. 

Once your items are fired for the first time, they are then clear-glazed and then fired again.  They will be food-safe as well!  Items will be available  3 - 4 weeks after your workshop.

All workshops are in our peaceful studio and garden located 5 mins from Palmerston North and Feilding on State Highway 3.  Address instructions will be emailed before your workshop date.
